| | - To promote recreational, social interest, goodwill, friendship and understanding among members.
- To provide the necessary recreational and social facilities.
- To afford financial relief and assistance to members in distress on compassionate grounds.
- To raise funds to enable the members to improve the standard of sports and social activities for the benefits of members; and
- To promote mutual help, and social harmony among members

| | The membership is made up of staff of SEDC, residing in Menara SEDC and/or seconded to companies, attached or transferred to any related companies of SEDC or any other statutory body or government department or agency. |

| | Group Blood Donation |
| | Held once in 4 months (i.e 3 times a year). Donors are made up of SEDC staff and staff of SEDC and subsidiary and associate companies and staff of SEDC 2 city hotel. |

| | Students Excellence Award |
| | Award in the form of cash given to students (children of members of PEDAS) with excellent result in UPSR, PMR, SPM and STPM. |

| | Educational trips |
| | Educational trip to SEDC counterparts in Semenanjung Malaysia orgainsed once in 2 years. PEDAS provide some form of subsidy. |

| | Charity sales |
| | PEDAS participated in charity sales of work. The proceeds were donated to the charitable organization who co-ordinated the event. |
| | |
| | Health/Motivational/Educational Talk |
| | PEDAS incited professional speakers to give motivational/ health/educational talk to its members and to the children of PEDAS members. The event is organised once or twice quarterly. |

| | Saturday Togetherness |
| | PEDAS organised Saturday outings for its members and families 3-4 times yearly to a place of choice, decided by the Committee members. |

| | Sukan Gemaputera |
| | PEDAS co-ordinated SEDC to participate in the games carnival for SEDCs and agencies under the Ministry of Entrepreneur And Co-operative Development (MECD) called 'Sukan Gemaputera'. The SEDCs/agencies take turn to organize the carnival once in 2 years. |
