SeDidik to set up 58 centres this year |

KUCHING: A total of 58 SeDidik centres will be set up in the state this year, following the huge success of the `5S and Kaizen' implemented by SeDidik Sdn Bhd.
Seven centres will be in Kuching, and the rest in Kota Samarahan, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
SeDidik is the first pre-school to receive 5S certification in Malaysia.
Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) chairman Datuk Talib Zulpilip said the success was due to the high level of dedication, innovation and creativity of the educators in SeDidik.
"Therefore, the 5S culture is the foundation for quality improvement and innovation in the future," he said during a 5S certificate presentation here.
Talib presented 5S certification from Malaysian Productivity Council (MPC) to children from three SeDidik pre-schools - Taska Cahaya, Sedidik Perdana Jalan Ong Kwan Hin, Kuching and Sedidik Mutiara Gedong, Simunjan.
Also present were SeDidik general manager Sulzari Mohamed and MPC deputy director Ahmad Fadzil Mahmud.
