Sarawak Economic Development Corporation

SEDC's involvement in the Mineral and Mining industry started in the 1980s with the establishment of the sector to operate and manage the activities. The activities cover mainly quarry operations and production of premix.

The quarries involved are Stabar Quarry, Bukit Akud Quarry and Penkuari in Kuching Division and Sebuyau Quarry in Samarahan Division, while there are three premix plants in Kuching, Sibu and Miri. To complement these activities, the sector also has a trading arm to supply building materials such as pipes and machinery parts.
