In line with the government's aspiration to make agriculture sector a new source of growth for the country, SEDC Sarawak through Agro Food Based Division is entrusted to undertake projects in agriculture and food related ventures focusing on three main sub-sectors – Livestock, Fisheries and Plantation.
The objectives of the Division are as follows:
- To undertake new projects which are strategic and relevant to the economic development of the State through alliances with reputable partners.
- To pioneer new projects especially on the introduction of new technology.
- To enhance the development of existing projects being undertaken by the Corporation.
