SEDC's participation in the Road and Works sector is through its strategic partnership with the public listed Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad.

The Road and Works sector is actively involved in the contract work for the development of infrastructure in Sarawak. The sector has participated in various public works such as roads and bridges as well as buildings. In addition, the sector is a land developer and manages properties.

Past projects implemented include the Satok Flyover, Bako Causeway, Sarikei Hospital, Sungai Sarawak Regulation Scheme, Swinburne University, Pusat Islam and etc.
