SEDC together with its hotels, Grand Margherita Hotel and  Riverside Majestic Hotel hosted a "Majlis Berbuka Puasa" or breaking of the fast with the children from the orphanage, PERYATIM Sarawak.

The annual event is held during Ramadhan or the fasting month at Poolside, Grand Margherita Hotel.
